Wheelchair users tour the vineyard

We love hosting so many different visitors, from all ages and backgrounds, at the vineyard. For those less able, the best time to visit is summer, when the ground is dry and easier for wheelchair users and those who walk with a stick. It’s possible to drive all the way up to the barn, where we hold the tastings. We don’t usually encourage this, though, since it looks nicer if cars are parked out of sight  under the trees at the entrance. The only problem is when groups arrive in a large bus which can’t make it along the final lane up to the vineyard. Mini-buses are fine. It’s a pretty ten minute walk from the main road, so check with us if this might cause difficulties. We have occasionally ferried  a few frail visitors up the lane, but I don’t think we could transport a whole bus load!
